Why CE Level 2 matters

CE-rated motorcycle armor is impact-tested to a European standard: EN 1621-1 for limb protectors and EN 1621-2 for back protectors. Level 2 armor lets less force through to the body than Level 1, so it is the higher protection rating. Every piece in this set is Level 2, so your back, shoulders and elbows are covered to the same standard.

How to check the fit before you order

1. Open your jacket's armor pockets at the back, shoulders and elbows (usually Velcro or zip openings on the inside).
2. Remove the existing pads or foam and measure them, or measure the pockets themselves.
3. Compare those numbers with the dimensions above. A pad a little smaller than the pocket is fine; a much larger one will bunch up.

How to install

1. Take out the old foam or armor from each pocket.
2. Slide in the new pad with the curved side following the shape of your shoulder, elbow or back.
3. Close the pocket and put the jacket on to check each pad sits over the joint, not beside it.
